Inchara Muralidhara
PhD Student
Inchara hails from Bengaluru, India. Her strong interest in biology led her to complete an Integrated Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Mysore. She conducted her master’s project in Dr. Kavita Babu’s lab at IISc, Bangalore where she later worked as a project associate. Driven by her passion for molecular neuroscience, she opted to pursue a PhD at the University of Cambridge under Dr. Iris Hardege. Inchara is currently investigating the dual role of dopamine-gated ligand-gated ion channels (LGCs) in regulating behavior in C.elegans. Apart from research, she enjoys traveling, photography, and exploring different cuisines.
